Job Description:
The University of Toledo Physicians is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support and assist providers within the clinic setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of the provider to deliver health care services and maintain a positive patient experience. Responsibilities include performing clinical procedures, vital sign measurements, prescription verifications, triaging patient messages, assisting in specialty duties, and maintaining infection control standards. The LPN will need to possess a high school diploma, graduate from an accredited LPN program, hold a License Practical Nurse license in the State of Ohio, and have CPR/BLS certification. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, have proficiency in medical terminology, basic computer literacy, excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information.
