Job Description

As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in directing nursing services, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in directing nursing services for the unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
  • Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying physicians of emergencies.
  • Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate.
  • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Willingness to work as charge nurse and during emergencies.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients and follow doctors' orders.
  • CPR certification required; in-service training attendance mandatory.
