Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality nursing care to our patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities

• Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall.
• Delegate duties to professional and non-professional nursing personnel, monitoring work performance under supervision.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, noting any signs of adverse change in physical or mental condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team in emergencies, and implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as a charge nurse, providing quality care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
