Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. As a Care Team Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in managing high-risk and chronically ill patients, providing direct care, and ensuring the smooth operation of clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in infection control and pediatric patient care.
• Assess the needs of clients and families, providing appropriate referrals.
• Deliver urgent in-office and telephone triage care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
• Perform vaccinations, administer medications, and conduct in-office procedures professionally.
• Coordinate follow-up care for discharged patients to prevent complications.
• Participate in continuing education and adhere to practice policies.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and email.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current LPN license in Massachusetts, BLS certification, and CEUs as required.
