Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services for the unit, observing patients for any adverse changes, and providing quality nursing care in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor their work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Observe patients for symptoms and notify physicians of any emergencies.
• Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from a School of Nursing and hold a valid license from the Board of Nursing in the state of employment.
• Demonstrate willingness to work as needed during emergencies and provide quality nursing care to patients.
• Be CPR certified annually and attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
