Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As an LPN, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services for a unit/hall, observing patients for symptoms, and assisting in emergencies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for a unit/hall following the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, alert physicians in emergencies, and implement changes in orders as directed.
• Perform assigned duties efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and CPR certification.
• Attend training and staff meetings as required.
