Responsibilities
- Deliver quality care within scope of practice
- Monitor patients as directed by medical staff
- Administer medications and provide wound care
- Document actions and maintain medical records
Requirements
- Graduate from Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Active Practical Nurse license in state of employment
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state laws and regulations
- Ability to meet health needs of patients
Essential Functions
- Utilize systematic approach to patient care
- Implement nursing care within scope of practice
- Assist in teaching plans based on patient needs
- Administer medications and care for multiple patients
- Monitor vital signs and report changes
- Document actions in medical records
