Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This is a full-time night position where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the direction of nursing services in accordance with regulations and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor their performance.
• Observe patients for any changes in physical or mental condition.
• Notify physicians of emergencies and implement changes in orders as required.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current and valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurse, and be available during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow medical instructions, and have a passion for geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification required yearly.
• Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
