Job Description

Join Liberty Healthcare Management as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a part-time, day shift schedule. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in assisting with nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for a unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor their work performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, noting signs of adverse changes.
• Notify the attending physician of emergencies and patient conditions. Implement physician-ordered changes in treatment.
• Perform assigned duties efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an LPN license.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as a charge nurse and handle emergencies when needed.
• Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow medical instructions, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• Yearly CPR certification and attendance at required in-service training and staff meetings.
