Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in assisting with nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring high-quality patient care. This is a full-time evening position where you will be responsible for observing patients, notifying physicians of emergencies, and implementing necessary changes in treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall.
• Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement changes in treatment orders.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current, valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified annually.
• Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as required.
