Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Join our team at FirstHealth of the Carolinas as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examination, assisting healthcare providers during procedures, and ensuring accurate patient documentation. Additionally, you will support in the collection of laboratory specimens, perform tests, and coordinate patient testing and referrals.

Requirements

LPN: Graduation from an LPN program and current license required. Clinic practice experience is necessary, with a preference for those experienced in delivering occupational health services.

CMA: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program and proficiency in practice management systems, office automation, CPT, and ICD-10 coding. Experience assisting physicians with patient care tasks is essential.

Clinic Tech: Current NC Paramedic or AEMT certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• LPN program graduation and current license.
• Clinic practice experience.
• Prefer experience in occupational health services.
• Proficiency in practice management systems and CPT/ICD-10 coding for CMAs.
• Experience assisting physicians with patient care for CMAs.
• Current NC Paramedic or AEMT certification for Clinic Techs.
