Job Description

Responsibilities
- Assist in the direction of nursing services on the unit under a Registered Nurse's supervision.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel, monitor performance, and observe patients for potential issues.
- Notify the attending physician of emergencies, implement changes in orders, and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school graduate and licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Hold a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and maintain CPR certification.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses, ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, and genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
