Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Commons of Alamance County. In this role, you will assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the delivery of quality care to our patients. Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and supervise their work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, and notify physicians of emergencies.
- Implement changes in orders per physician instructions.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a valid LPN license in North Carolina.
- Willingness to work as charge nurse and provide quality nursing care to geriatric patients.
- CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training.
