Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Commons of Lee County. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the direction of nursing services, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, alerting physicians to changes in condition.
- Notify attending physicians of emergencies and implement changes in orders as instructed.
- Perform other assigned duties to support patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current, valid North Carolina Board of Nursing license.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality care, follow medical instructions, and show interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification required annually.
- Participate in in-service training and staff meetings.
