Job Description
Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Commons of Lee County. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in the direction and delivery of nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This full-time position offers evening shifts and a rewarding opportunity to provide quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor their performance.
- Observe and assess patients for symptoms and reactions indicating any adverse changes.
- Notify the attending physician of emergencies and patient status changes.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed as a Practical Nurse.
- Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to take charge nurse responsibilities and work during emergencies.
- Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow physician orders, and have a passion for geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training.
