Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Louisburg Health & Rehab Center. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality nursing care to our patients in a compassionate environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel while monitoring work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, alerting physicians as needed.
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
- Perform other assigned duties to ensure the well-being of our patients.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and show genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification required yearly.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
