Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As a Full Time, Nights LPN, you will play a key role in providing quality nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include observing patients, assisting in emergencies, implementing physician's orders, and ensuring high standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance under RN supervision.
- Observe patients for symptoms and potential adverse changes.
- Notify attending physician of emergencies and patient updates as required.
- Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid NC Board of Nursing license with proof of renewal every other year.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow medical orders, and contribute to geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification required annually.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as mandated.
