Job Description - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Langdon Place of Dover, under Genesis Healthcare, is hiring a Part Time LPN for the night shift from 7p - 7a. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide efficient and effective nursing care, contributing to positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

Position Highlights

• Evaluate patients/residents, collect data, observe conditions, and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing or pending LPN licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice.
