At Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Roxboro Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. This is a full-time night position where you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services, monitoring patient conditions, and providing quality nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties and monitor performance of nursing personnel.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, reporting changes to physicians.
- Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement order changes as required.
- Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and possess a valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as a charge nurse and during emergencies.
- Provide quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- Maintain current CPR certification and attend required training and meetings.
