Job Description
Join Liberty Healthcare Management as a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Southwood. As an LPN, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, observing patients for any adverse changes, and ensuring quality care for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall.
- Delegate duties and monitor performance of nursing personnel.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions.
- Notify attending physicians of emergencies and changes in orders.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification and willingness to attend in-service training.
