Job Description
Join our team at Liberty Healthcare Management as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. In this role, you will assist in directing nursing services for the unit, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring high-quality care for our patients. This is a part-time position on day shifts (7am - 7pm).
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying the attending physician in emergencies.
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care to geriatric patients.
- CPR certified yearly.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
