Job Description
Join Liberty Healthcare Management at Parkview Health and Rehabilitation Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a full-time night shift. As an LPN, you will assist in directing nursing services, delegating duties, observing and monitoring patient conditions, and providing quality nursing care in compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms and adverse changes, notifying physicians when necessary.
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with proof of renewal.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification required yearly.
- Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
