Licensed Practical Nurse Per Diem

Job Description

We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join St. Jacinta Healthcare Staffing on a per diem basis. As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in various long-term nursing care facilities across New Hampshire, including Manchester, Windham, Laconia, Dover, and Berlin. This role offers the flexibility of per diem scheduling for up to four 12-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ultimate responsibility for delivering resident care during designated shifts on assigned unit.
• Interact professionally with residents, physicians, family members, and medical staff.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies with poise.
• Conduct clinical rounds, monitor resident care plans, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Administer medications, document treatments, and store controlled substances following facility policies.
• Participate in ongoing education to uphold LPN licensure.
• Work collaboratively and flexibly to support regular employee leaves and time off.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• IV and CPR/BLS certifications.
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle emergency situations.
