Job Description
We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Pinehurst Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services for our unit/hall, observing patients for symptoms and reactions, and providing quality nursing care to patients in accordance with doctors' orders.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying attending physician of emergencies.
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Ability to work as charge nurses and provide quality nursing care to patients.
- CPR certified yearly and willing to attend in-service training.
