Job Description
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Foley Center at Chestnut Ridge, part of Liberty Healthcare Management. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality nursing care to patients while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the direction of nursing services in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties and monitor the performance of nursing personnel under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, reporting any changes to the attending physician.
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
- Perform other assigned duties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Licensed Practical Nurse qualification.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and show genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification required yearly.
- Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
