Job Description

Liberty Healthcare Management is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Oaks. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality nursing care to our patients, ensuring their well-being and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, reporting changes to physicians.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement changes in orders as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties to support patient care.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a valid LPN license.
• Current North Carolina Board of Nursing license with proof of renewal every other year.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies for adequate coverage.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification required annually.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as mandated.
