At Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services, we have an exciting opportunity for a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team on a Full-time, Day schedule. As an LPN, you will assist in directing nursing services for the unit, delegate duties, observe patients, and provide high-quality care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit in line with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties and monitor work performance under RN supervision.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying physicians of emergencies.
- Implement changes in orders as per physician instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Hold a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with proof of renewal every other year.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and provide quality care to patients.
- CPR certification on a yearly basis.
- Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as required.
