Job Description
Sunrise Foods, Inc. is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous production and sanitation operations by performing repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. You will work closely with the production team to maintain a preventive maintenance program, troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, and coordinate with external service providers.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a preventive maintenance program in conjunction with production.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and communicate with vendors, service technicians, and contractors.
- Inspect operating equipment for conformance with operational standards.
- Coordinate with production and quality assurance on equipment and process issues.
- Facilitate lockout tagout procedures effectively.
- Document timely completion of work orders.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience – one year of related experience or training.
- Language – ability to communicate effectively.
- Computer Skills – competency in MS Office applications.
- Physical Demands – ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
- Climate – from extreme cold to extreme heat (non-weather conditions).
- Noise – moderate.
Compensation
Hourly Wage: $25-28.
