We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join Mayroad's team. The Generalist Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential properties and community assets. From structural repairs to plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and more, the ideal candidate will ensure the properties are in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on residential properties and community amenities.
• Respond to emergency, urgent, and routine work orders promptly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Utilize technology for efficient work order management.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Address safety hazards and climate-related issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical work.
• Ability to obtain HVAC/Steam certification within 12 months.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Work Environment

The role involves working in non-climate regulated environments and may include exposure to various hazards. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.

Physical Demands

The position requires physical activities like lifting, walking, climbing, and more. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary.

Travel

Minimal travel is expected, less than 5%.
