Job Description
Commercial and Residential Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Gateway Park Apartments in NE Portland. This position involves daily upkeep and maintenance tasks for our apartment community, including building, landscaping, and amenities maintenance, as well as assisting with repairs and other essential maintenance duties under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the property.
- Assist with repairs, carpentry, electrical, painting, landscaping, and plumbing tasks.
- Work collaboratively with experienced technicians and contribute to the overall upkeep of the community.
Requirements
- One year of maintenance experience in a commercial or multi-family property preferred.
- Basic knowledge of various maintenance tasks such as landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate maintenance equipment.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to handle after-hours emergencies.
