Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist to join our team. The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient Mammography exams, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while following the Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality Mammography exams in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Operate Mammography imaging equipment proficiently to obtain high-quality images.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Maintain professional development per ARRT requirements.
- Communicate effectively with administrative, medical staff, and peers.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and department.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 Years' experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
- Certification by ARRT required, with additional Mammography (ARRT)(M) certification within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
