Mammography Technologist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join Corewell Health as a full-time employee. In this role, you will perform accurate and efficient mammography exams, providing high-quality images while following our Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain professional standards in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality mammography exams following established procedures.
• Operate mammography imaging equipment proficiently.
• Obtain high-quality images through proper patient positioning techniques.
• Ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Maintain professional development per ARRT requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the medical team and peers.
• Maintain cleanliness in the department.

Requirements

• Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
• 1-3 years of experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
• Certification by ARRT with additional Mammography certification required within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
