Manager of Finance

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manager of Finance to join Gastroenterology Associates of the Piedmont. In this role, you will collaborate with the CEO and practice leadership to manage the financial performance of the practice and oversee ancillary services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial goals and standards in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Act as a liaison for financial matters with executive leadership, management, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee the production of financial reports and conduct financial analysis for strategic initiatives.
• Monitor daily financial activities, generate Key Performance Indicators, and provide reporting to executive leadership.
• Direct accounting, budgeting, and audit controls to minimize risk.
• Identify cost-effective solutions based on financial and industry trends.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with government requirements.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and preferably advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required, CPA or MBA preferred.
• Ten years or more of related experience required, preferably in healthcare.
• CMPE or FACMPE certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and travel as needed.

Possibility of remote work (hybrid) after successful orientation.
