Manufacturing Production Technician - Backend

Job Description

American Canning, LLC is looking for a Manufacturing Production Technician - Backend to join our team in Austin, TX. As a Backend Technician, you will operate state-of-the-art machinery in our new facility to produce premium beverage cans. If you are a team player, mechanically inclined, and goal-oriented, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate decorator, Necker machine, and palletizer.
• Perform manual and mechanical production functions.
• Conduct inspections of materials and finished products.
• Complete preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Train and develop co-workers.
• Replenish supplies and execute record-keeping duties.
• Comply with safety practices and FDA regulations.

Requirements

• 2 years of can making experience preferred.
• Industrial manufacturing machine operating experience required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and hazardous environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
