Job Description
Waupaca Foundry, Inc., North America’s premier iron castings supplier, is looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tell City, IN. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our state-of-the-art facility through breakdown response, preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and other tasks.
Responsibilities
- Participate in safety training and adhere to safety policies.
- Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions.
- Adjust machinery to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct fabrication, machine repair, installation, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift with a solid work history.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive work attitude.
