Job Description
Waupaca Foundry, Inc., North America’s leading supplier of iron castings, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility in Tell City, IN. As a member of our dedicated maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our state-of-the-art facility through breakdown response, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Successfully complete safety training and comply with departmental safety policies.
- Participate in the 6-S Program for housekeeping.
- Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs).
- Adjust machinery to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform equipment repairs, fabrication, machine repair, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
- Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, blueprint reading, and machine repair.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Problem-solving skills and a positive work attitude.
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and adapt to a flexible work schedule.
