Job Description
North Austin Pediatrics, P.A. is seeking Medical Assistants to join our Cedar Park office. As a Medical Assistant in our clinic, you will play a vital role in assisting providers and ensuring a supportive and welcoming environment for our patients.
Core Duties
- Monitor patient flow, room patients, and check vitals.
- Assist providers with clinical tasks such as lab swabs and vaccinations.
- Perform routine lab work and prepare specimens for testing.
- Clean and prepare exam rooms for patients.
- Complete lab requisitions and handle laboratory reports.
- Handle administrative duties related to patient care.
Soft Skills
- Demonstrate tact, compassion, and excellent communication skills.
- Relate well to children and possess strong time management abilities.
- Be well-organized, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Hours
Full-time position with Monday to Friday shifts, one Saturday morning per 4-6 weeks.
