Job Description
LC Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team in the medical field. If you have a passion for patient care, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
Pay:
$22/hour depending on experience.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday: 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., typically Saturdays, 8:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Two Saturdays a month required with another day off during the week.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients.
- Take patient vitals.
- Perform Phlebotomy.
- Run labs.
- Sterile processing / QC autoclave.
- Greet patients and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Answer phones, take messages, and transfer calls.
- Check patients in and out.
- Verify insurance eligibility and process payments.
- Complete data entry tasks.
Requirements:
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Preferably medical assistance experience.
- Experience with Experity Software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong multitasking and customer service skills.
- Proficient with computers and office equipment.
