Full Time Nights 7P-7A, 3 Shifts per week.

If you are a dedicated and experienced RN looking to take on a leadership role, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Upson Regional Medical Center as a Med/Surg Charge RN.

The RN Clinical Charge Nurse will be responsible for directing and supervising daily activities on the unit during the assigned shift, ensuring the safe and successful delivery of patient care.

In addition to overseeing the unit, the Charge Nurse may also take on patient care responsibilities. This role is pivotal in maintaining excellence in patient care and acting as a valuable resource for other staff members.

It is crucial that all RN Clinical Charge Nurses are licensed professionals who demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise. They adhere to the standards set by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics Standards of the American Nurses Association.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily activities on the unit.
• Provide guidance and support to staff members.
• Maintain excellence in patient care delivery.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience.
• Current RN license in the State of Georgia, BLS, ACLS certification.
