Job Description
Quality Correctional Care, an Indiana-based company, is seeking a passionate and driven Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counselor to join our collaborative and supportive team. As the medical and mental health provider in over 70 county jail facilities, we are dedicated to assisting corrections-involved individuals in their healthcare journey through individual counseling and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and triages for patients referred by various sources.
- Develop treatment plans, conduct essential treatment services, and provide suicide prevention interventions.
- Respond to sick call requests, provide medication adherence, and coordinate with prescribing providers.
- Offer crisis intervention, manage clinical needs of patients, and participate in team meetings.
- Provide staff training, document findings, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Master's Degree required; License/Certificate preferred.
- Location in White, Benton, Pulaski, Starke, Jasper County with minimal travel.
- Full-time day shift; weekends may be required.
