Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate must have critical care nursing (RN) experience and strong leadership skills. As the ICU Nurse Manager, you will oversee a 29-bed unit that provides care to high-acuity medical, surgical, and neuro patients. Your responsibilities will include ensuring safe and age-appropriate patient care, managing resources effectively, and fostering a culture focused on optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the ICU team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Manage resources efficiently to meet patient care needs.
- Implement and monitor performance improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and manage operational and capital budgets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a CCNE-accredited School of Nursing.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a nursing supervisory role.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License (RN) and CPR certification required.
- National Certification preferred within one year of hire.
