NURSE MANAGER - INTENSIVE CARE (ICU)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate must have critical care nursing (RN) experience and proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ICU.
• Ensure safe and age-appropriate patient care.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the patient care team.
• Manage resources effectively to meet patient care needs.
• Implement performance improvement initiatives.
• Manage fiscal budgets and monitor operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Promote professional development and growth among staff members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Maryland RN license and BLS certification required.
• National Certification preferred within one year of hire.
