Job Description
Hornblower is seeking Full and Part Time year-round Deckhands to join our South Shore operation in Hingham, MA. As a Deckhand, you will serve as a crew member onboard large-capacity passenger vessels, providing exceptional hospitality to guests while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers following the RESPECT SERVICE SYSTEM.
- Ensure the safety of passengers and vessels by following safety procedures.
- Participate in routine training & safety drills.
- Assist in maintaining vessel equipment and cleanliness.
- Handle lines to moor vessels and perform deck maintenance tasks.
- Assist with passenger boarding and disembarking.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality with a service-oriented mindset.
- Physically fit and able to work for extended periods without sitting.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident per maritime law.
