Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and provide prompt service to meet their needs.
• Analyze prescriptions, custom fit glasses, and perform minor repairs on eyewear.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets quality standards and patient requirements.
• Use specialized tools to verify eyewear accuracy and perform diagnostic work for physicians.
• Maximize sales by understanding patient needs and showcasing the value of our products.
• Maintain a clean, organized dispensary and secure company assets.
• Address patient issues promptly, maximize patient satisfaction, and assist co-workers with complex product needs.
• Explain insurance/vision plan benefits clearly and adhere to practice policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years optical experience and retail experience.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and willingness to travel when needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and display technical excellence and productivity.
