Part Time Activity Aide

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Part Time Activity Aide to join Fairmount Homes, Inc. This role involves delivering life enrichment activities to elders living in a retirement home during evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will engage with older adults through creative expressions in music, art, games, and group activities, fostering love and happiness among residents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging life enrichment activities for older, disabled, and handicapped adults.
• Understand and cater to the physical, mental, and psycho-social needs of elderly residents.
• Interact tactfully and courteously with residents, families, staff, and volunteers.
• Support Fairmount's mission and values in all interactions.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with older adults is preferred.
• Valid PA Driver’s License is advantageous.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess characteristics such as adaptability, creativity, and collaboration.

Compensation

Salary: $16.85-$18.15 per hour, plus $1.25 per hour for weekends.
