Part Time Evening Hostess For Fine Dining

Job Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Evening Hostess to join our fine dining team at Bishop Gadsden, a not-for-profit, faith-based retirement community located on James Island, affiliated with the Episcopal Church. As a Hostess, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable dining experience for our residents and guests at Winningham Court.

Responsibilities

• Organize reservations and walk-in customers with professional phone etiquette.
• Greet and seat residents and guests, ensuring fair distribution of tables among servers.
• Have a good knowledge of the menu and discuss it in detail with customers.
• Perform all duties in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum age of eighteen (16) years.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Interpersonal skills for positive interactions with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform various tasks.
