Job Description
The University of Vermont Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our Non-Invasive Cardiology - Stress Lab team. As part of this dynamic unit, you will be responsible for conducting stress tests using various modalities and supporting physicians during procedures. This role involves collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform stress tests and assist in moderate sedation for Trans esophageal echoes.
- Collaborate with card tech's, cardiology fellows, sonographers, and physicians to determine the appropriate tests for patients.
- Provide direct care, instructions, and procedure preparation for noninvasive cardiology tests.
- Possible charge duties depending on operational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience in critical care, ER, or cardiology unit.
- ACLS Certification.
- Experience in telemetry reading.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
Schedule
This position is per diem, and the working hours are from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm.
