Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist

Job Description

The Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist at Flexential is a key role responsible for supporting the Physical Security Installation Lead Engineer in planning, scheduling, and supervising installation projects and vendors from inception to completion. The position involves sourcing physical security technologies, assets, and labor, as well as implementing, programming, and troubleshooting physical security systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure servers, workstations, panels, and other programmable components.
• Act as the primary point of contact for physical security installations and issues.
• Plan, schedule, supervise, and control security system installations.
• Confirm equipment procurement for installations.
• Prepare progress reports, expense reports, and related documents.
• Evaluate system performance to minimize malfunctions.
• Maintain technical knowledge and inform associates and customers of industry changes.
• Manage worksites for construction and remodeling projects.
• Coordinate activities, provide direction to contractors, and liaise with project stakeholders.
• Design, implement, and audit physical security systems.
• Communicate effectively with end users and manage the ticketing system.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and provide On-call support.
• Collaborate with technical staff to design security solutions.
• Participate in Incident Management and maintain project documentation.
• Travel as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate and respond effectively to project disruptions.
• 1-5 years of supervising vendors and managing projects.
• Technical experience with low voltage systems and project management.
• Knowledge of networking, security systems, and related equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and develop procedures based on technical documents.
• Experience in Change Management and Incident Management processes.
• Familiarity with industry trends and adaptability to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASIS Certification.
• Experience programming and maintaining access control and CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of network design, software applications, and security hardware.
• Certifications in IT-related hardware/software.
• Physical security software and ticket management systems experience.

Physical Requirements

• Able to sit for extended periods, lift 50 lbs, and travel as needed.
• Keyboard usage, walking, and standing may be required.

Base Pay Range

Annual salary offered: $86,000 - $96,000, actual range varies with experience.

Variable Pay

Discretionary annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
