Job Description
Join Discover Financial Services as a Principal Product Owner on the HR Technology team dedicated to the Payroll and Timekeeping functions. In this role, you will collaborate with business leaders to ensure the successful delivery of product outcomes that meet stakeholder requests while managing change impacts. Your profound understanding of Payroll, Absence, and Timekeeping business functions is critical in shaping viable solutions and managing risks and issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead prioritization of business requests in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Define product features and roadmaps based on insights and data.
- Align with Workday and ServiceNow product vision and features.
- Create key product documentation and requirements.
- Collaborate to define Minimum Viable Product and features for product delivery roadmap.
- Ensure product features align with compliance standards and quality measures.
- Validate user story acceptance criteria and testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams to set implementation timeline and monitor progress.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related roles.
- 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Workday, laws, regulations, and Project Management experience.
- Experience in requirements gathering, User Acceptance Testing, Change Management, and Agile methodology.

Compensation
Base pay ranges from $110,500.00 to $154,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided based on factors like experience and education.
