Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Program Specialist to join our team at CRSI in Allen County. As a key member of our management staff, you will lead and supervise designated programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Your role will involve coordinating services, establishing relationships with consumers, professionals, and community members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor day-to-day operations of support services and consumer-related programs.
- Act as a liaison between the agency, county boards, and relevant authorities to facilitate service delivery.
- Provide advocacy for consumers and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Offer guidance and support to staff on service delivery, documentation, and program implementation.
- Participate in hands-on programming and supervise staff members as needed.
- Maintain sound budgetary practices for consumer settings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree with 2-4 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience working with community-based agencies.
- Strong communication, writing, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Strong leadership abilities and collaborative skills.
